RB Hockey Development Ltd. – Terms & Conditions
1. General
RB Hockey Development Ltd. (“RB Hockey”) provides non-contact hockey development programs focused on skill advancement and player experience.
Completion of online registration constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility & Conduct
Participants must register in the correct age and gender grouping.
RB Hockey camps are non-contact.
Players are expected to arrive prepared, on time, and to demonstrate respect for all coaches, volunteers, guest speakers, and fellow athletes.
Negligent or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from camp without refund or credit.
The use of cell phones in dressing rooms is strictly prohibited.
3. Health & Safety
Players must stay home if unwell.
Each participant is responsible for bringing required medical devices or medication and must disclose any allergies or medical conditions during registration.
Participants must wear all required protective equipment and follow staff direction at all times.
RB Hockey may take players off-site (e.g., beach or dryland training) under staff supervision; parental consent is implied upon registration.
4. Media Consent
By registering, parents/guardians grant RB Hockey permission to include participants in camp photos and promotional video or social-media content.
5. Equipment & Apparel
Each participant receives a camp shirt, hat, and training bag. Athletes are expected to wear supplied merchandise daily and arrive with:
Water bottle
Running shoes & shorts
Lunch – no peanut products
6. Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Parents/guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and pick-up of players. RB Hockey staff are not responsible for supervision outside posted camp hours.
7. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
A $200 + GST non-refundable deposit is required to secure a camp spot.
Full payment details are provided upon confirmation.
Refunds of remaining balances (minus deposit) are available up to 30 days prior to the camp start date.
No refunds or credits are issued within 30 days of camp.
Withdrawals for medical reasons must include a physician’s note for review.
Camp credits are not transferable to future years or other participants.
8. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
Participation in athletic activity involves inherent risks of injury. By registering, you acknowledge and agree that:
You (and your child) voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in RB Hockey programs, both on and off the ice.
You waive any and all claims against RB Hockey Development Ltd., its directors, officers, employees, agents, sponsors, and volunteers for loss, injury, or damages arising from participation, except as prohibited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the above Releasees from any claims by third parties arising from your child’s participation.
This waiver is binding on your heirs, executors, and assigns.
9. Insurance
RB Hockey Development Ltd. maintains general liability insurance; however, personal medical or accident insurance for participants is the responsibility of each family.
Participants should maintain their own extended health or accident coverage.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
Acknowledgement
Registration and payment confirm that the parent/guardian:
Has read and understood these Terms & Conditions, including the Release of Liability;
Consents to the participant’s involvement in all RB Hockey activities; and
Accepts full responsibility for the participant’s conduct and wellbeing during camp participation.
